"Making the Grade" Days 2007 Wed. April 11th and Mon. May 7th
In 2006 more than 10,500 students and teachers from all over the Central Valley took a break from the classroom and enjoyed an afternoon at the ballpark. “Making the Grade” Days has continued to be a unique and exciting way to reward your students for a year of homework, quizzes, tests, and S.T.A.R. testing. In 2007 the Grizzlies will host two day games to accommodate for schools to take a field trip to one of the most beautiful ballparks in all of Minor League Baseball.
On Wednesday, April 11 or Monday, May 7 gates to Chukchansi Park will open early enough for students to pick up their lunch, roam around the ballpark and watch as the Grizzlies and their opponents warm up before the game. Students can be distracted by other attractions at the ballpark like the jumbo slide, interactive pitching and batting cages, various inflatable activities and of course the Grizzlies Team Store where they can buy souvenirs to remember the day they left the classroom to watch an afternoon baseball game.
